Who we are.

Jason N. Delancy is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and has extensive experience in the areas of international and domestic taxation.  Spending more than eight years working in public accounting for several global and national firms, he has helped many individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of taxation in real estate, private equity, transportation, manufacturing, not-for-profit entities, and healthcare.  What makes his skillset uncommon and unique is that having worked several years in international taxation, he not only understands the tax implications of cross-border activities, but is also adept to address the domestic, U.S. Federal side of taxes.  He is excited to serve the Houston and global community with his skillsets. 

While working at various global and national firms, Jason observed a common trend of smaller clients not receiving adequate nor attentive care for their accounting and tax needs.  In addition, he noticed that many of the smaller public accounting firms did not have the technical expertise to address many of their clients’ burgeoning international tax needs.  This pushed Jason to fill this void. Driven by a deep motivation to passionately serve and build a dedicated relationship with his clients, Delancy CPA, PLLC excels in providing critically needed international and domestic tax services.

Having lived several years abroad (Brazil, Spain, and Mexico), Jason is fluent in the Spanish and Portuguese languages.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science in Accounting with a concentration in taxation from East Carolina University.  Jason serves as treasurer of the board of directors for the Texas Bluebonnet Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPAs).

When not serving clients, Jason is salsa dancing the night away with his wife. He loves to read, be outdoors, play chess, ride bikes, and travel.  He is very globally minded and loves all things international.

Jason is a CPA with an extensive amount of continuing education in the areas of C-Corps, S-Corps, partnerships, and international tax.
